Rich in colour and flavour, there’s layer after layer of loveliness here, starting with the Honeydew and white peach on the nose extending onto the palate, teaming up with tangerine zest and finishing with delicate almond notes.
Garganega, much like some people, gets nuttier with age, so if you can hang on to this for a few years (3-7) you’ll be rewarded with an even richer texture and pronounced toasted almond notes.
Creamy chicken or gratin dishes, but works equally well with simply grilled fish or tofu dishes, thanks to its lean and light style. Citrus based dressings and aromatic herb seasonings also bring out the best in this suave Soave.
