San Cristoforo – San Cristoforo – 100% Petit Verdot

The Story: Sometimes we buy wines we don’t sell! This wine was sent to me as a sample along with a few others some time ago, and I simply fell in love with it.  As a single grape variety it can be simply stunning and this is no exception to that rule.  I wanted to import it to sell it on but at £45 a bottle its a special occasion wine and not something we would sell a lot of, so I bought some to drink for myself….as you do.  Then my friend was over from Denmark who is an importer and he asked to look through my catalogue and said “Why don’t you sell some of these amazing wines you have?”
