We only went and bloody won!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we won the People’s Choice Wine Awards for the Il Civettaio Sangiovese 2016.

It’s been one of our flagship wines since I launched the business 3 years ago and every year it just gets better and better.  The 2016 is extremely well balanced with just he right amount of fruit and acidity to keep you coming back for more and more.

The wine was up against some stiff competition but according to the judges it shone above all the rest.  This has made the last 3 years of blood sweat and tears all seem a little more worth it.  Also, the fact this is judged by professionals and every day people means it’s the people that drink our wines that voted for it, so that means just that little bit more.
