In this month’s Discovery Box, we are featuring a wine from one of our favourite producers: Il Civettaio’s Sangiovese, which is an *it’s so good – it needs to be inducted into the Hall of Fame* – kind of wine.
We are also introducing a gloriously zesty Verdicchio from Le Marche, (because Summer isn’t over yet), and finally, our incredible Ombra Blu; a velvety smooth blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Ciliegiolo and the rare for the region Teroldego grape that blows all its (severely overpriced) competitors out of the water. These are the last few bottles of its vintage too… which makes this wine a very limited edition.
